Old Habits

I spoke too soon.  Shortly after midnight, I got a call from a neighbor.  He had a houseguest that was ready to go home, and was too drunk to drive.  While not technically driving a taxi, my designated driver function came real close.

I've had customers like that, where they become more than just a fare. Picking them up in your personal car, and eventually befriending them. It's one of the great things about driving a taxi.
